The OBD-II Interface Adapter allows the DMI to be used in any 2017 or older vehicle with an OBD-II port and 2018 GM and Dodge vehicles with an OBD-II port. This adapter is not compatible with 2019 or newer vehicles. No additional power cables are needed since the Adapter draws power from the OBD-II port. Note: Accuracy is dependent upon vehicle and sensor combination.

Used on vehicles that either don’t have integrated wheel speed sensors, or there is no manufacturer documentation as to the location of those signals. This sensor counts pulses by detecting the knuckles of a vehicle’s driveshaft. Often a preferred option for full-sized or larger trucks where the SS-10 or OBD-II sensors aren’t practical. The Proximity Sensor requires a Vehicle Installation Kit (#1030) sold separately for use.
